Born and raised under the turquoise skies of Albuquerque New Mexico, with an engineer father and a resourceful and crafty mother of 5, I developed a passion for creativity early in life. The culture and bold art of the southwest molded my intensity for design, and my love for the deep powder-capped mountains of Colorado brought me north to Denver. After graduating with a B.S. in Industrial Design from Metropolitan State University of Denver, I cut my teeth with the premier European design firm in Colorado as a junior designer and installer. My excitement for hands on design+build projects emerged when I branched out to start my own company, Factory320 design + build, in 2009.
Factory320 was named after my first shop in the heart of Denver- a
320 sq/ft shipping container that was repurposed into a fully-functional workshop. In spite of its tiny footprint, I was still able to fabricate large custom projects, for both residential and commercial clients - New Belgium, Oskar Blues, and The Source Indoor Market in the historically artistic RiNo area of Denver. See my projects gallery for more info on these.
Working directly with clients is why I made design+build my career; I enjoy the process of creating something new with others and sharing a vision. Whether it's a large commercial account or a unique residential project, I take the time to develop that customer relationship and execute the best possible solution. I have an extensive knowledge of materials and a broad array of fabrication methods. My design ethos follows a clean, functional, even vital design language, that incorporates both modern and classic undertones. With over 20 years of design + build experience - no idea is too unique, no project too large.
Contact me today about your next project and let’s transform that idea into reality.
